Contracts and fees

How long do I have to sign a lease for?

We normally conclude lease contracts for 1 year with the possibility of extension. With us you can be sure of stable housing for many years.

Are you entering into a lease or sublease agreement?

Mint Living enters into classic lease agreements with its tenants, don’t expect any tricks or footnotes.

What are the fees?

The fees are divided into two parts. The first part consists of a lump sum payment for services provided with the housing that are not billed (heat, security, reception, garbage, elevators, lighting, etc.). The second part of the charges consists of advance payments for utilities (electricity and water), which are billed once a year according to actual consumption. Electricity is not overcharged. The amount of the charges depends on the size and layout of the specific apartment.

Do I have to post bail?

Yes, the security deposit is paid before the start of the tenancy and is between one and three rents including fees. It always depends on the outcome of the tenant’s credit check.

Can I start renting any day of the month?

Of course, it’s not a problem, we’re ready.

Housing and services

Do you provide additional services to the apartment?

Of course. Through the tenant portal or reception you can order regular or general cleaning, order a technical service for minor repairs, etc.
When you move in, you can take advantage of our “starter pack” service – IKEA home furnishings. In the package you will find essentials such as duvets, pillows, basic crockery. So you don’t have to worry about much of anything when you move in. The service is paid for separately. You can also find delivery boxes from PPL and Zásilkovna right on the premises, or you can have your packages sent to the reception.

Can I have a pet in my apartment?

Of course. However, as the apartments are fully furnished with quality custom-made furniture, we will ask you to provide a security deposit/deposit of three months’ rent, including utilities. However, this is always a refundable deposit.

Is there security on the premises?

Yes, we pride ourselves on a comfortable and safe environment. Therefore, the reception of the complex is manned by our friendly receptionist during the day, from evening to morning and on weekends there is always a security guard on site ready to help the tenants. The premises are also guarded by a CCTV system.
